Curiosity Killed the Cat

There was once this girl, whose parents were so original blokes that they've called her Curiosity. Not because she was curious of any noticable measure, but rather because they were curious, how she will work out with this name.
Now, when the girl turned 10, she still hadn't have shown any signs of abnormality caused by her name. Quite the opposie, she was one completly ordinary child. So the parents go one step further with their charade and buy her a little cat, which they insisted she calls "The Cat".
And what would you expect! Three months later the poor pussy have drowned in the East Siberian Sea. How did it get there? Can we really say that Curiosity killed The Cat, or perhaps we must admit, that our curiosity to follow that link on have triggered all these events described above? Do cats and East Siberian Sea exist without us thinking of them? That's very curious! :)
